Hi there!Thank you for your answer, even if I would choose barealic islands, is it impossible?
The acarage of my pre-university degree ( equals 12th class of school) is 17.13 out of 20 and my 3 year high school diploma( from 9th class till is 11th class of school ) is 18.49 out of 20. They much upper than my bachelor's degree in Medical laboratory science ( 15.21 out of 20).
Can I compensate them with taking enterance exam? Are there separate admission for bachelor's holders for studying medicine or I have to take an enterance exam with high school subjects like biology, chemistry, etc?
Please, could you find some groups on social media about persons with the age +25 years who interested studying medicine?
From someone, I heard that the admission for+25 years people is different, that's corrected?
The thing is, pretty much all public universities in Spain require a high cut off mark for Medicine, and to access it once you have another university degree it’s even harder because the spots offered for that access are only 1% of the total spots, which in most universities it means 1-3 spots only, so you might need almost a 10 out of 10 grade to access that way.
About the +25 yo access, you can only use that access if you DON’T have any other means of accessing uni via another studies, so if you have a bachelors degree already you cant use that access.
What you can do if you really want to study medicine in Spain is studying a course equivalent to UK’s college: It’s around 2 years, and once you get the highest grade you can get in that course (Im currently doing it and my grades are slightly short of 10 out of 10), you must take like the UK’s A Levels in two subjects (usually Biology and Chemistry), and the grades you get on both those 1 exams will be added to the final grade of the course, amounting to 2 points top for each subject, that way your final grade to access uni will be X out of 14 instead of 10. Most unis in Spain require at least a 13 out of 14 for Medicine.
Its a bit complicated to understand, every country has its own stuff, and spain can be a bit strange
